Built by a founder, for founders

The Bridge Method was created by Miha Matlievski — serial entrepreneur, founder of Fail Coach, and someone who learned the hard way that the conversations you avoid are the ones that define your business.

Miha built multiple businesses worth $15M by age 30. Then the 2009 financial crisis wiped out everything — including €20M in a single day. Instead of disappearing, he rebuilt. Within a year, he launched a new 8-figure business.

That experience — the failure, the rebuilding, the conversations that had to happen on both sides — became the foundation of Fail Coach, a consulting practice dedicated to helping SME founders navigate the hardest moments in business.

Over 450 client engagements, one pattern kept surfacing: founders know they need to have a difficult conversation, but they don’t know how to start. They postpone firing someone for months. They avoid the co-founder equity talk. They let a toxic client relationship drag on because the alternative feels worse.

The Bridge Method framework emerged from those 450+ real situations — not academic theory, but patterns observed in real founders having real conversations with real stakes.

The framework

Most feedback frameworks are monologues disguised as conversations. The Bridge Method introduces a critical fourth step — The Bridge— where you stop talking and genuinely ask for the other person’s perspective. This single change transforms feedback from correction into connection.

1

Camera

Start with observable facts. No judgment, no interpretation — just what a camera would record.

2

Story

Own your narrative: "The story I'm telling myself is..." Name your interpretation instead of presenting it as truth.

3

Weight

Explain why this matters. Connect the behavior to real consequences — business, team, or relationship.

4

Bridge

The dialogue turn: "What am I missing?" Stop talking. Ask. Actually listen. This is what makes it work.

5

Path

Co-create the solution together. When people design the solution, they commit. When they're told, they comply.

Every other feedback framework ends with an action item. The Bridge Method ends with a question mark.

Fail Coach

The Bridge Method app is the practice layer of Fail Coach, Miha’s consulting practice for SME founders. The app lets you rehearse at scale. When you need deeper, hands-on support — working through a specific situation with someone who has been there — Fail Coach consulting is the next step.

Over 30 years of entrepreneurship. 450+ client transformations. The methodology is real because the situations it was built on were real.
