Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 6, 2026

1. What we collect

When you create an account, we collect your email address and display name. When you use the app, we store your language preferences, conversation practice sessions (including transcripts), session scores, badges, and purchase history.

2. How we use your data

Your data is used solely to provide the Bridge Method service — powering your practice sessions, tracking your progress, generating scorecards, and managing your account. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. AI conversations

Your practice conversations are processed by AI services (Google Gemini) to generate responses and scoring feedback. Conversations are stored in our database to provide session history and scorecards. They are not shared with other users.

Team admins can see aggregate scores and trends for their team but never have access to individual conversation transcripts. Your practice conversations are private to you.

4. Third-party services

We use the following services to operate the app:

  • Supabase — authentication and database hosting (encrypted at rest, hosted in the EU/US)
  • Google Gemini — AI conversation engine for practice sessions and scoring
  • Stripe — payment processing (we never store your card details)
  • Vercel — application hosting
  • Resend — transactional emails (team invitations, contact form)

5. Analytics

We use analytics tools to understand how the app is used and improve the experience:

  • Fathom Analytics — privacy-focused website analytics. No cookies, no personal data collection, GDPR compliant.
  • Microsoft Clarity— session recordings and heatmaps to understand how users interact with the app. Clarity may record mouse movements, clicks, and scrolling behavior. Text inputs in session practice are masked by default. Clarity operates under Microsoft’s data processing terms.

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies only — specifically, authentication session cookies managed by Supabase to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Fathom Analytics is cookie-free by design.

7. Data security

Your data is protected by row-level security (RLS) in our database — only you can access your sessions and transcripts. All data is encrypted at rest and in transit. We follow security best practices including parameterized queries, server-side validation, and principle of least privilege.

8. Data retention

Your account data and session history are retained for as long as your account is active. Session transcripts and scores are preserved indefinitely to support your progress tracking and badge history. If you delete your account, all associated data is permanently removed.

9. Your rights (GDPR)

If you are in the EU/EEA, you have the right to:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Rectification — correct any inaccurate personal data
  • Erasure — request deletion of your account and all associated data
  • Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
  • Restriction — request that we limit processing of your data
  • Objection — object to processing of your personal data

To exercise any of these rights, email support@fail.coach. We will respond within 30 days.

10. Data deletion

You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting support@fail.coach. Upon request, we will permanently delete your account, profile data, session transcripts, scores, badges, and purchase records.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top. For significant changes, we will notify you via email or an in-app notice.
